Beautiful wedding day with no rain

The fix was in. During the bouquet toss at Kara Beth & Emilio Flores' wedding, we knew wedding bells were in the near future for maid of honor, Dillon Mullenix. You can see how bad the fix was in the first minute of this video. Shortly after shooting this clip we met Mr. Aaron Duval, the [...]

Wedding Video Corpus Christi

For those of you who are looking for ways to take that wedding day feeling with you, look to hire a professional videographer.  A wedding videographer has the tools and knowledge to capture your special day like no other media can.  Yes, still hire a professional photographer; that is important too.

With wedding video, you open up doors that some never knew existed.  Ask yourself this, “Would you rather have a picture of your husband reciting his wedding vows to you, or would you like to see his lips move as you actually hear the vows being recited?”  It is easy to remember about the best man’s great toast, but what did he say?  Will you remember the sweet speech given by the maid-of-honor, or will you just have a photo of her crying and holding a microphone?

There are opportunities out there to have your wedding saved in the form of a digital film.  From all the things left over after their wedding, this movie is something our previous clients cherish the most.  Click below to find out what professional wedding video can do for your next event:

Thanks for your time.

Web page work

This week I purchased a book on Search Engine Optimization or SEO. I’m learning a wealth of information on how we can get our Big Box Pro Video Production site up in the rankings on Google. For some reason, MONEY, there are sites that rank higher than any local video production company. So if you search for “Wedding Video Corpus Christi” there are results for people who do not even do business in Corpus Christi. So we are doing our best to increase our exposure to the public.

Take care and have a great Christmas

Natalia & John’s Wedding

Rehearsal dinner: Marco’s Catering

Church:  Saints Cyril and Methodist Catholic Church

Reception:  Gaslight Square

On December 6, 2008 we shot video of Natalia & John’s wedding.  On the 5th we made it over to Marco’s for the rehearsal dinner.  At the dinner we presented the couples slide-show.  John’s Navy buddies gave him a hard time about his growing up photos.  They were also shocked to find out his middle name is Paul.  So throughout the rehearsal dinner one of his buddies was yelling “John Paul” and then “Are we hanging out with royalty or what?”

On Saturday we shot video of preparations and then mass.  Once the mass was over we headed over to the Big Box Pro Studios to produce the same day edit.  Once we encode the video we will post it on here.

The reception at the Gaslight Square was cold but the outdoor heaters helped.  The client seemed to really like their same day edit wedding video.  We were there to video up until the couple loaded up into the limo.  We had a really good time shooting this event.

Take care

Misty and Scott’s Wedding

Misty and Scott were wed this weekend on the beach in Port Aransas, Texas.  The weather was perfect, the couple was easy-going and very obviously deeply in-love, the food was awesome–in short, it was beautiful.

Even though, as videographers, we don’t usually get to know the couples too personally, often there are moments on the wedding day that allow us a little peek into their personalities.  From Scott tearing up at the thought (let alone his first glimse) of his bride, to Misty completely blowing off the fact that her maid-of-honor spilled a cup of red punch on her train right before the wedding, it was obvious that this was an especially cool couple.  (The maid of honor burst into tears when she realized what she had done, but Misty just kept hugging her and telling her it was okay.  And she meant it.)

It was a great day–a great couple with a great wedding.

Check out Scott and Misty’s same-day edit  we showed at their reception.
