Over the last couple of years we have worked with the West Texas Bridal Showcase. We have been in several shows and have used it to launch our sister company San Angelo Wedding Video. When James called last week he wanted us to produce a television / social media commercial for his next show in Abilene, Texas.

If you are planning to head out to the wedding expos and wedding fairs this is a good read. When we first started Big Box Pro Wedding Video we found a lot of potential clients at wedding shows. Please keep in mind it is a show, and the vendors are there to SELL themselves to you.

Also please be advised that a lot of the high end wedding vendors do not have booths at these shows. If you are having a high end event you might need to get referrals or do searches online. I would ask your vendors for referrals and recommendations before booking. Ask questions and ask to meet with your vendor at their place of business so you can book without all the hype of the wedding show.

On May 1, 2010 we were in the Houston area shooting an event. We happened to find out an old highschool friends’ band was going to be playing near by. We did not intent to shoot any video that night, but they rocked so we broke out the cameras. Here are the first two edits from that night. Working on show 0011 for Lets Go Caching

On show 11 we will spend most of our time out geocaching. This past Sunday we attended an event here in Corpus Christi. Like many of the events we go to everyone there was just talking about all the hides they had just put out. So it took a few days for the caches to come out, but when they did we went on a geocaching hunt for first time finds. We were able to get 5 of 6 first to finds. Depending on how you play the game we could count it 6 of 6. More on that on another show.

Graduation Slideshows and Video

Here in Corpus Christi, it is getting closer and closer to graduation day. You have watched your child grow and it is time for them to walk across the stage. This time of year we get requests to make slide show presentation videos. We call them, “From diapers to diploma.” They showcase the life of your child. From those cute baby photos to those awkward times in middle school, to blossoming in to a young adult, a slide show video will allow you to watch your child grow before your eyes.
